Ground transportation software FAQ
The ground transportation software FAQ for mobility businesses: everything operators ask before, during, and after switching to MobilityDrive, answered directly.
Getting Started
Book a demo and our team will map your workflows, migrate your fleet, driver, and client data, and configure your booking and billing rules. Most businesses are fully operational on MobilityDrive within 7 days, with dedicated onboarding support throughout.
Yes. We migrate vehicles, drivers, clients, rate cards, and historical trip records from spreadsheets, legacy dispatch tools, or other platforms at no extra cost on Growth and Enterprise plans. Migration is validated with your team before go-live.
Every plan includes onboarding sessions for dispatchers, accountants, and admins, plus a knowledge base and in-app guides. Growth and Enterprise plans add a named customer success manager and 24/7 priority support.
Yes. We will set you up with a walkthrough tenant loaded with your own routes, vehicles and tariffs, so you can run real bookings through dispatch, the duty slip and a GST invoice before committing.
Product
MobilityDrive includes booking and dispatch management, fleet and driver management, real-time GPS tracking, automated invoicing and billing, a corporate client portal, driver and passenger mobile apps, analytics and reports, and an open API with integrations.
Yes. MobilityDrive is multi-branch by design. You can run unlimited branches and cities from one account, with per-branch rate cards, fleets, user roles, and consolidated group-level reporting.
Yes. Native iOS and Android apps for drivers and passengers are included on all plans. Drivers get trip details, navigation, and earnings; passengers get live tracking, ETAs, and digital receipts, white-labeled on Enterprise.
Yes. The corporate client portal lets your clients create bookings, approve employee requests, track vehicles live, download invoices, and view spend reports, reducing back-and-forth calls and emails to your team.
Security & Compliance
Traffic is encrypted with TLS and access is controlled by role-based permissions, with a per-tenant boundary on every record. Single sign-on is available for the corporate booking portal today, and audit logging is limited rather than comprehensive.
Not certified, and we will not claim otherwise. The product has the pieces India's DPDP Act asks for, including consent records, a data request register and a named grievance officer. If you need a data processing agreement, ask us and we will work through it with you.
We do not publish an uptime SLA yet, because we will not promise a number we cannot evidence. The product runs on a managed host with daily database backups. If a written availability commitment matters to your procurement, raise it with us early.
You do. Your business retains full ownership of all fleet, trip, client, and financial data. You can export everything at any time in standard formats, and we delete data on request after contract termination.
Integrations
Tally for accounting, Razorpay for collections, WhatsApp, SMS and email for messaging, a GST Suvidha Provider for e-invoice IRN and e-way bills, and an HR import for employee transport rosters. There is also a REST API with keys and webhooks if you need something we do not cover.
Yes. A documented REST API with webhooks is available on Growth and Enterprise plans, covering bookings, trips, vehicles, drivers, clients, and invoices, so you can connect MobilityDrive to any internal system.
Partly. There is a generic HTTP endpoint your device or its middleware can post positions to, authenticated with a per-device key, and those points feed the same live map as the driver app. We do not ship adapters for specific vendor protocols, so if your hardware is already installed, our team maps your devices during onboarding so you keep your existing investment.
