Indecab alternative: how MobilityDrive compares
Indecab and MobilityDrive are both software for companies that run cars with drivers for clients: bookings, allotment, a driver app, duty slips and billing. This page sets them side by side using only what Indecab publishes about itself, read on 24 October 2026, and says plainly where each one may suit you better.
Is MobilityDrive an alternative to Indecab?
Yes, for a car rental, chauffeur or corporate cab operator. Both run the chain from the booking to the duty slip to the invoice, both have a driver app with digital duty slips, both handle e-invoicing and export to Tally. The main differences are reach and shape: Indecab's pages describe a product built around the Indian car rental industry with its own network of partner companies, while MobilityDrive also invoices under VAT in Saudi Arabia (with ZATCA Phase 2) and the UAE, runs in Arabic, has a dispatcher app as well as driver and customer apps, and publishes its Indian prices. Indecab did not publish prices on the pages we read.
What Indecab says it offers
On its home page Indecab describes itself as car rental technology for corporates, car rental companies and drivers, and its car rental page says the product was built around the details of the Indian car rental industry, naming monthly duty types, "whichever is higher" extra calculations, revenue sharing and fuel surcharges. For car rental companies the page lists booking creation or import for any booking type, labels for workflow, a single view of driver and vehicle availability, driver location for allotment, call-masked click-to-call, and messages by SMS, email and WhatsApp.
The Indecab Go driver app is described with digital duty slips, one-time passwords to start or end a trip, customer signatures for billing, live location sharing and tracking of distance and time. On billing the page lists single-duty and consolidated invoices, manual invoicing, automatic tax and entity selection, digital signatures, e-invoice creation, invoice statements and Indecab Collect for payment collection. It also lists purchases and expenses, supplier invoices, petty cash and driver payroll, duty-level profit and loss, customised exports, scheduled reports and export to Tally. The home page mentions setting up GST compliance.
Two parts of Indecab stand out. The Indecab Network lets car rental companies send bookings to partner companies on the same platform, accept them with one click, pass allotment details automatically, share live tracking and accept duty slips digitally. And a separate product for corporates describes a booking dashboard, custom approval workflows, designation-based permissions, an employee app with an SOS or panic button, invoice verification, single sign-on and carbon emission reports. Indecab's home page also states that it is an ISO 27001 and SOC 2 certified company.
Indecab pricing
Indecab's help centre describes two base plans, Indecab Basic and Indecab Pro, with Mobility and Mobility Plus add-ons for location tracking and route logs, and further features such as e-invoicing, sender masking and a custom-branded customer app. The pages we read did not publish any prices, and the help page asks customers to contact Indecab to activate a plan. So the honest answer to "Indecab pricing" is: not published; ask Indecab for a quote.
MobilityDrive publishes its Indian prices: Dispatch from 2,500 rupees a month and Operate from 3,500 rupees a month, each with a duty allowance and a small per-duty charge beyond it, quoted for your fleet. Enterprise, the UAE, Saudi Arabia and the wider GCC are quoted on request. The detail is on the pricing page.
Where MobilityDrive differs
The biggest difference is the Gulf. A MobilityDrive company can invoice in SAR with 15% VAT and ZATCA Phase 2 e-invoicing (tested in ZATCA's developer sandbox, with live onboarding done per customer), or in AED with 5% VAT and PINT AE e-invoice files. The admin console and the driver, customer and dispatcher apps are available in Arabic and English, and the driver app in Hindi too. The Indecab pages we read name only India and do not mention VAT, ZATCA or Arabic. If all your work is in India this may not matter; if you have, or plan, a branch in Riyadh, Jeddah, Dubai or Abu Dhabi, it does. See MobilityDrive in Saudi Arabia and MobilityDrive in the UAE.
In India the two overlap closely, and the differences are in detail. MobilityDrive's tax invoice is laid out to Rule 46 of the CGST Rules with CGST and SGST or IGST by place of supply, an IRN and QR code are added through the e-invoice connector you configure, a receipt records the TDS a client deducted, vendor payments track TDS under section 194C, and sales, receipts, purchases, payments and journals export to Tally as vouchers with your own ledger names. Behind the invoices sits a double-entry ledger, so profit by vehicle and by branch is read from the same postings as your books. The GST invoice for cab operators guide explains the invoice itself.
MobilityDrive has three apps: a driver app, a customer app for passengers and a dispatcher app. The Android apps are in Google Play review and the iPhone apps are not yet published. The apps carry MobilityDrive branding; apps under your own brand are built to order and quoted separately. Vehicle documents such as permit, fitness, PUC, road tax and insurance, and driver documents such as the licence and police verification, carry expiry dates, and an expired document stops an allotment unless your policy allows an override.

Who should choose which
Indecab may suit you better if you are a car rental company in India and much of your work is exchanged with partner companies, because the Indecab Network is built for exactly that: bookings, allotments, tracking and duty slips passing between companies on one platform. It may also suit you if your clients' travel desks already book through Indecab's corporate product, if a supplier's ISO 27001 or SOC 2 certificate is a condition of your contracts, or if you want a custom-branded customer app as a listed feature.
MobilityDrive may suit you better if you work in Saudi Arabia or the UAE as well as India, or plan to; if your drivers or office staff work in Arabic; if you want a dispatcher app alongside the driver and passenger apps; if you want a published starting price before the first call; or if you want the books, the receivables and the GST or VAT invoices in the same system as the duties, with Tally as the export rather than the only ledger. It is not a marketplace: your vendors work inside your own account.
How to compare Indecab and MobilityDrive yourself
Take the same pack to both demos: three real tariffs including a monthly duty and an outstation trip, five vehicles with one document about to expire, a corporate client's contract and a week of bookings with the awkward ones left in. Ask each to allot, run, close and invoice a duty in front of you, then to raise the month's consolidated invoice and the Tally export. If you work in the Gulf, ask for a VAT invoice in SAR or AED as well. Our nine criteria for comparing dispatch software give you a test for each step.

Indecab vs MobilityDrive: frequently asked questions
What is the difference between Indecab and MobilityDrive?
- Both run car rental and chauffeur operations from the booking to the duty slip and the invoice. Indecab's own pages describe a product built around the Indian car rental industry with a network of partner companies on one platform. MobilityDrive also covers Saudi Arabia and the UAE with VAT, ZATCA Phase 2 and Arabic, adds a dispatcher app to the driver and customer apps, and publishes its Indian prices.
How much does Indecab cost?
- Indecab's help centre names two plans, Indecab Basic and Indecab Pro, with add-ons, but the pages we read on 24 October 2026 did not publish prices. Ask Indecab for a quote. MobilityDrive's Indian plans are from 2,500 rupees a month for Dispatch and 3,500 rupees a month for Operate.
Do both support GST e-invoicing and Tally?
- Indecab's pages list e-invoice creation and export to Tally. MobilityDrive raises a GST tax invoice with CGST and SGST or IGST, adds an IRN and QR code through the e-invoice connector you configure, and exports vouchers to Tally by file.
Can MobilityDrive replace the Indecab Network?
- Not as a shared marketplace. In MobilityDrive you can give a duty to a vendor, keep the vendor's cost against the trip and track vendor bills and payables, but vendors work inside your own account rather than on a network of companies.
Does Indecab work in Saudi Arabia or the UAE?
- The Indecab pages we read name only India and do not mention VAT, ZATCA or Arabic, so ask Indecab directly. MobilityDrive invoices in SAR with 15% VAT and ZATCA Phase 2, tested in ZATCA's developer sandbox, and in AED with 5% VAT, with the apps in Arabic and English.
Is MobilityDrive certified like Indecab?
- No. Indecab's home page states ISO 27001 and SOC 2 certification. MobilityDrive holds no such certificate today; our security page describes the controls that are built, such as encrypted secrets, signed file links and an audit trail.
