Employee transport management software for corporate cab operators in India
MobilityDrive is employee transport management software for the cab operators who serve companies in Bengaluru, Delhi NCR, Mumbai, Hyderabad, Pune and Chennai: recurring shift duties, a corporate portal with approvals, live cab tracking, driver document checks and one GST invoice for the month.
What does employee transport management software do for a corporate cab operator?
It runs the contract. A company hires a cab operator to bring staff to the office and take them home, shift after shift. The software holds the repeating duties, puts a car and a compliant driver on each one, shows the client where its cabs are, records every trip and turns the month into one invoice. MobilityDrive does those things for the operator. It does not build shift rosters or optimise routes by itself: you set the duties and the pickup order, and recurring bookings repeat them.
What is in it
A corporate cab contract, from the shift to the invoice
Recurring shift duties
A booking repeats daily, weekly or monthly until an end date, up to 365 duties from one booking, so the morning login and evening logout runs are entered once.
Corporate portal with approvals and policies
The client's admin team books in a portal, approval rules route a request by value, route, custom field or the requester's manager, and travel policies are set per client. Sign-in can use the client's own OIDC single sign-on.
Employee lists
Client employees are imported from a file, or sent by the client's HR system in a generic format with a field map. There are no ready-made connectors for named HR products.
Live cab tracking and links
Active duties show on a live map, a tracking link opens in the employee's browser, and geofence entry and exit at the campus is logged against the trip.
Driver and vendor compliance
Driving licence, police verification and vehicle documents carry expiry dates. An expired document, a clashing duty or a driver on leave is flagged or refused at allotment, for your own and vendor drivers.
Monthly contract billing under GST
Trips are priced from the client's contract, and the month's duties can be raised together on one invoice on a schedule you set per client, issued or left as drafts for review.
Corporate cab booking and fleet management system for Indian operators
Employee transport in India is run by operators, not by the companies whose staff ride in the cabs. A technology park in Bengaluru or a back office in Gurugram signs a contract, and the operator supplies cars, drivers, a control room and a monthly invoice. A corporate cab booking and fleet management system has to work for that operator first: it has to keep hundreds of repeating duties straight, and it has to prove each one happened when the client's finance team asks.
MobilityDrive is the operator's system. The client books through the corporate client portal, the control room allots on the dispatch board described under fleet dispatch software, drivers record each trip in the driver app, and the contract is billed from those records. The general overview of the product for this segment is on the employee transportation software page; this page is about running it in India.
Employee transport software in Bangalore, Delhi NCR, Mumbai, Hyderabad, Pune and Chennai
The work differs by city. In Bengaluru it is technology campuses on the Outer Ring Road, Whitefield and Electronic City, with long commutes and fixed shift windows: see employee transport software in Bengaluru. In Delhi NCR the offices are in Gurugram and Noida, staff live across three States, and a duty often crosses a State border: see Delhi NCR. Mumbai adds long north to south runs and airport duties: see Mumbai.
Hyderabad concentrates its employers in HITEC City, Gachibowli and the Financial District. Pune splits between the IT parks of Hinjewadi and Kharadi and the factory shifts of Chakan and Talegaon. Chennai runs the OMR technology corridor alongside manufacturing shifts at Sriperumbudur and Oragadam. The product is the same in each city; the duty patterns, distances and clients are what change.

Safety and compliance in employee cab management
Clients ask two questions about safety: who is driving, and what happens if something goes wrong. For the first, driver documents such as the driving licence and police verification are stored with expiry dates, and a driver whose document has lapsed is not allotted unless your policy allows an override. Vendor drivers are held to the same check. For the second, the driver app has an SOS button, a passenger using the customer app can raise an SOS on a trip that is under way, and the alert reaches the control room staff you name by push, WhatsApp or email along with the trip and its last known position.
Trip records support the monthly review. A finished trip can be replayed on the map, safety events are recorded against it, and SLA breaches show which duties were allotted late or started late. Our guide to employee transport management KPIs lists what to measure, and the tracking and app side is covered under employee cab tracking software.
Monthly billing, GST and TDS on a corporate cab contract
A corporate contract is billed once a month, and the argument is always about the trip list. In MobilityDrive every invoice line carries the vehicle, the driver and the duty slip number, the client can open its own invoices, statement and duty slips in the portal, and a credit note corrects a disputed charge without editing the invoice. Corporate clients usually deduct TDS when they pay: the receipt records the TDS alongside the money received.
The tax side is covered in the guide to the GST invoice for cab operators and on the transport billing software page. Published plans for operators in India start from 2,500 rupees a month for dispatch, with higher plans that add GST e-invoicing and corporate billing, plus a small per-duty charge: see pricing.
Employee transport management software in India: frequently asked questions
What is an employee transport management system for a cab operator?
- It is the software a corporate cab operator uses to run staff transport contracts: repeating shift duties, allotment of cars and drivers, tracking, driver compliance and monthly billing to the client. MobilityDrive is built for the operator that supplies the cabs, not as an HR tool for the employer.
Does MobilityDrive create shift rosters and routes automatically?
- No. You create the duties and the pickup order, and recurring bookings repeat them daily, weekly or monthly. Automatic rostering and route optimisation are not part of the product today.
Can our corporate client book and approve cabs itself?
- Yes. The corporate portal lets the client's team create bookings, approval rules can require sign-off by value, route, custom field or manager, and travel policies are set per client. Confirmed bookings appear in your dispatch list.
Can employees track their cab?
- Yes. You can send a tracking link that opens in any browser, and a passenger using the customer app can follow the trip there. Location comes from the driver app or from your own GPS devices.
Is there an SOS button for employees?
- A passenger who uses the customer app can raise an SOS on their own trip while it is under way, and drivers have an SOS button in the driver app. The alert goes to the control room staff you name. The apps are built: the Android apps are in Google Play review and the iPhone apps are not yet published.
How is a monthly employee transport contract invoiced under GST?
- Trips are priced from the client's contract, and the month's duties can be raised together on one GST tax invoice, on a schedule per client or on demand. The invoice splits CGST and SGST or IGST by place of supply, and an IRN is generated through the e-invoice connector you configure where e-invoicing applies to you.
Does it work for operators with offices in several cities?
- Yes. A company can run several branches with their own rate cards, and reports can be read by branch. The same system serves an operator in Bengaluru, Hyderabad, Pune, Chennai, Mumbai and Delhi NCR.
