Yelowsoft alternative: how MobilityDrive compares for cab and chauffeur operators

Yelowsoft and MobilityDrive both give a transport company a dispatch system with driver, passenger and dispatcher apps. Yelowsoft's own pages describe a product for taxi, limousine, private hire and ride-hailing businesses with branded apps; MobilityDrive is built for operators that run booked duties for clients and bill them under GST or VAT. This page compares them from Yelowsoft's own pages, read on 24 October 2026.

Is MobilityDrive an alternative to Yelowsoft?

For an operator whose work is booked duties for corporate and hotel clients, yes. For a business launching an on-demand taxi or ride-hailing app under its own brand, Yelowsoft's pages describe that directly and MobilityDrive is not a ride-hailing marketplace. The differences are in what happens after the trip: MobilityDrive turns the duty slip into a GST tax invoice with an IRN in India or a VAT invoice with ZATCA Phase 2 in Saudi Arabia or PINT AE files in the UAE, keeps the receivable and the books, and runs in Arabic.

What Yelowsoft says it offers

Yelowsoft's home page describes taxi business software with automated dispatch, a driver app, a passenger app, an admin panel and a dispatcher console, branded taxi apps, real-time fleet tracking, driver performance monitoring, dynamic pricing, reports, digital payments and promotions, and integrations for payment gateways, SMS and CRM on request. It names limousine operators, ride-hailing start-ups, private hire operators and cab companies, mentions flight tracking and multilingual apps for limousine and VIP work, and offers a 7 day free trial. The offices listed are in Newark, Delaware, in the United States and in London.

The chauffeur and limousine page lists corporate accounts each with their own configuration and pricing, weekly, fortnightly or monthly invoicing cycles per corporate account, trip-level billing, airport pickups with flight-related changes "where the integration supports it", automated assignment with dispatcher override, ride broadcasting, live trip tracking, payments through Stripe and PayPal, a branded booking experience and a QuickBooks sync for invoices and payment records.

Yelowsoft pricing

Yelowsoft publishes prices in dollars on its pricing page. On the page we read, Starter is $99 a month including 500 trips a month and $0.20 for each additional trip, with a one-time setup fee of $999 that the monthly price does not include; Professional is $270 a month with 1,500 trips and Growth $750 a month with 5,000 trips, each with its own setup fee; Enterprise is quoted by sales. The page lists the QuickBooks integration and the white-label customer and driver apps as priced add-ons, and says annual billing saves up to 20%. Check the current figures on Yelowsoft's own page.

MobilityDrive publishes its Indian prices: Dispatch from 2,500 rupees a month and Operate from 3,500 rupees a month, each with a duty allowance and a small per-duty charge beyond it, quoted for your fleet. Enterprise, the UAE, Saudi Arabia and the wider GCC are quoted on request. See pricing.

Where MobilityDrive differs

MobilityDrive is built around the duty, not the ride. A booking can be a local package of hours and kilometres, an airport transfer, an outstation trip or a month of corporate shift duties. The dispatch board checks each allotment against the day's other duties, vehicle and driver documents with expiry dates and drivers on leave, and the driver records opening and closing kilometres, tolls and parking on the duty slip for the passenger or client to approve. Read taxi and cab fleet software for India for how this works for an Indian cab operator; MobilityDrive does not run a street-hail fare meter or a consumer marketplace.

After the trip, the invoice follows local rules. In India a GST tax invoice is laid out to Rule 46 of the CGST Rules, with an IRN and QR code through the e-invoice connector you configure, TDS recorded on receipts and vouchers exported to Tally. In Saudi Arabia invoices carry 15% VAT with ZATCA Phase 2, tested in ZATCA's developer sandbox with live onboarding per customer; in the UAE 5% VAT with PINT AE files. The admin console and the three apps are available in Arabic and English. The Yelowsoft pages we read mention multilingual apps but do not mention GST, VAT, ZATCA or Arabic by name, so ask Yelowsoft about them.

Payments differ too: MobilityDrive sends payment links through Stripe and PayTabs, built to the providers' published APIs and tested on your own account during setup, and has no PayPal or QuickBooks connector. MobilityDrive has three apps: a driver app, a customer app for passengers and a dispatcher app. The Android apps are in Google Play review and the iPhone apps are not yet published. The apps carry MobilityDrive branding; apps under your own brand are built to order and quoted separately.

Who should choose which

Yelowsoft may suit you better if you are launching an on-demand taxi or ride-hailing service and want branded passenger and driver apps with promotions and dynamic pricing, if you want to try the software yourself on a free trial before speaking to anyone, if you take payments through PayPal, or if your books are in QuickBooks.

MobilityDrive may suit you better if your revenue is booked duties for corporate, hotel and travel clients; if you need GST invoices with an IRN in India, or VAT invoices that meet ZATCA or UAE rules; if your team works in Arabic; if you want duty slips, receivables, vendor payables and the ledger in the same system as dispatch; or if you want vehicle and driver documents checked at every allotment. Our chauffeur and limousine software page covers the chauffeur side.

What is the difference between Yelowsoft and MobilityDrive?

Yelowsoft's own pages describe taxi, limousine and ride-hailing dispatch with branded driver and passenger apps, Stripe and PayPal payments and a QuickBooks sync. MobilityDrive is built for operators that run booked duties for clients: duty slips, GST or VAT tax invoices with e-invoicing for India, Saudi Arabia and the UAE, receivables, a ledger and Arabic.

How much does Yelowsoft cost?

Yelowsoft publishes dollar prices. On 24 October 2026 its Starter plan was $99 a month including 500 trips, plus $0.20 for each additional trip and a one-time setup fee of $999, with Professional at $270 and Growth at $750 a month. Check its pricing page for current figures.

Is MobilityDrive a ride-hailing app builder?

No. MobilityDrive is not a consumer ride-hailing marketplace and does not run a street-hail fare meter. Passengers can book in the customer app with a fare estimate, but the product is built for booked duties for clients.

Does MobilityDrive offer white-label apps?

The apps carry MobilityDrive branding as standard. On request we build and publish driver and passenger apps under your own name, logo and colours as a separate build, quoted separately.

Does MobilityDrive invoice under GST and VAT?

Yes. In India it raises GST tax invoices with an IRN through the e-invoice connector you configure; in Saudi Arabia, VAT invoices with ZATCA Phase 2, tested in ZATCA's developer sandbox; and in the UAE, VAT invoices with PINT AE e-invoice files.
